Breakfast on gender balance in the boardroom
Times of Malta is organising a business breakfast on Friday, April 8 to launch and discuss new research on the role of women in senior management positions in Malta.
The research was designed and commissioned by the University of Malta's Centre for Labour Studies and carried out by KPMG. Amongst other issues, we will be discussing:
• Why does it pay to have gender diversity in boardrooms?
• What is hampering gender diversity in boardrooms?
• What can be done to increase gender diversity in senior management positions?
Our panel of speakers consists of:
Anna Borg – Director, Centre for Labour Studies
Mark Bamber – Partner, KPMG
Isabelle Engsted-Maquet – Deputy Head of Unit, DG General Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion (Spain, Malta unit)
and the event will be moderated by the assistant editor of The Sunday Times of Malta, Ariadne Massa.
