Times of Malta, the country’s top news organisation, has moved out of its premises in Mrieħel and relocated to Pietà, marking another chapter in its long and distinguished history.
The new offices in Joe Gasan Street, based on a modern working environment, reflect Allied Newspapers’ future-facing mission.
As Malta’s longest-serving media organisation, Times of Malta has been at the forefront of independent journalism for generations, chronicling the nation’s most defining moments while continuously adapting to an evolving media landscape.
The new four-storey offices, located a stone throw away from Valletta, place Allied Newspapers in very close proximity to many journalistic contacts, commercial partners, and the country’s most important public agencies and authorities. The facilities (previously serving as the offices of BPC International) have been refurbished and redesigned to provide an ambience that supports teamwork and enhances the daily working experience of all staff.
Beyond the physical space, the move represents a strategic investment in the future of Times of Malta, which has just marked its 90th anniversary. The new offices provide a strong platform for further growth and supports the organisation’s ongoing transformation as it continues to expand its digital media platforms, strengthening its position as Malta’s leading and most trusted news brand.
Allied Newspapers’ premises in Mrieħel have been leased out to a third party.
