Times of Malta is the country’s oldest, largest and most prestigious news organisation. As a newsroom journalist, you must be an excellent storyteller capable of writing quickly and accurately.
You will be expected to report on daily news events, including breaking news, as well as propose ideas for feature stories and original reporting. Your articles will appear on Times of Malta’s website and newspaper.
Candidates must be energetic and resourceful, be willing to develop sources, hunt down information on the internet and refuse to take “no” for an answer. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in journalism and speak both English and Maltese.
This is a full-time job. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and have a valid driving license. Candidates with photo, video or audio editing skills or familiarity with programming languages will be preferred.
